PROJECT SUMMARY

Progress South Central funded Skills for Care to develop a scheme to identify named members of staff in a variety of work-place settings who would be trained with higher level skills and knowledge in working with clients/patients with dementia to act as a resource within their teams or organisations.  The intention is that they would be in a position to lead and continually promote good practice, facilitate training and challenge ways of working, improve the 'client/patient experience' and actively promote the Dignity in Care Agenda.
